Now thru May 24th, we will be collecting items for VEAP birthday bags for children ages 12 and under. This is a Thrivent God's Work/Our Hands project and our goal is 40 birthday bags.

The items needed are: cake mix, frosting, candles, party-themed plates, and party favors (balloons, bubbles, etc.).

On May 31 we will assemble the bags after the worship service.

Each week VEAP distributes 100-150 birthday bags.

If you're looking for something to do this weekend, Nikki (our admin) is stage managing a production of The Play That Goes Wrong at Shakopee High School. This show is a hilarious "show-within-a-show" farce following the Cornley Drama Society as they attempt to stage a 1920s murder mystery, The Murder at Haversham Manor. Everything goes wrong: props disappear, actors are knocked unconscious, lines are forgotten, and the set.. well you'll just have to come see to find out what happens!

Performances are $7 for students and seniors and $10 for adults.
