RALY celebrated its last Wednesday of the 2025-2026 program year this week. Continuing with tradition, we ate pizza, named our favorite RALY activities (Art Night, Urban Air, Lock-in, and more!), and played hide and seek. We shared ice cream cake and summer plans then gave gratitude certificates featuring NASA's land satellite photos, a reminder that we are part of Creation and hold unique perspectives beyond this space. RALY shifts to summer programming in June so check out linktr.ee/raly55423 for camp, VBS, Summer Stretch, and more registrations throughout the summer!

RALY saw all kinds of critters and life at Wood Lake Nature Center while geocashing - a scavenger hunt using GPS and riddles like "Woodlake Rocks". From turtles to ducks, muskrats to redwing black birds, we walked alongside Creation in wonder!

Last night, RALY reflected on "liturgy", the structure Lutherans around the world use for worship services: gather, word, meal, sending. What does RALY's liturgy look like? Our gathering is sharing a "high, low, and a upcoming joy", Word is our activities together (modelling Matthew 18:20, "Where two or three are gathered..."); Our meal is pizza and pop; then sending youth out into their different lives of practices, homework, family time, and more. All components belong, as do all who come to RALY. RALY created artwork based on a liturgical component of their choice (scroll to see the full group!)

Next week we are meeting at Wood Lake Nature Center from 6-7:30pm for Geocashing! Drop off in the parking lot near the welcome center construction.

Cool weather brought us in for refreshers and hot drinks, all for "megan" who shared with the group. We had fun arm wrestling, exploring the toy aisles, and selecting exciting additions for the youth room. Our night ended with Chicken Bucket Ball, "21", and our own version of football! Next week we will meet at Woodlake Lutheran from 6-7:30 for an art and game night. Mark your calendars for Hide and Seek on the last night of RALY, May 20th!

On your mark, get set, bake! Last Wednesday, three teams made beautiful desserts with pudding, cake, frosting, marshmallows and some unusual ingredients. Hot sauce. Lemon juice. Mustard. Shout out to our judges Pastor Neal and Andry for their time and bravery tasting these unique bakes! Join us this Wednesday, 6-7:30pm at Christian Park to clean up Creation and play Chicken Bucket Ball!
