This week, don’t immediately reject correction, wisdom, or encouragement simply because it comes from an unexpected source.

Pause. Pray. Listen. Compare it with God’s Word.

Prayer:
“Lord, remove my pride, preferences, and preconceived ideas. Give me discernment so I will not miss the message—or the messenger You send. Amen.”

Tag someone who has been a messenger of encouragement in your life! ❤️

🇺🇸🙏 REMEMBERING 9/11 — WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🙏🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave first responders and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary courage on September 11, 2001.

As we reflect, we turn to God—the One who remains our refuge and strength in times of sorrow, uncertainty, and trouble.

📖 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

May we continue to pray for the families who carry the memories of their loved ones, for our first responders and military personnel, and for peace throughout our nation and our world.

May we never forget the lives.
May we never forget the sacrifice.
May we never forget how we came together.
And may we always remember that God is still our refuge. ❤️🤍💙

Some people criticized John’s appearance and methods so much that they completely missed his assignment.

Before dismissing someone, ask:

“Could God be using this person to tell me something I need to hear?”

What matters most when receiving a message?

A. Who said it
B. How they said it
C. Whether it agrees with God’s Word
D. How it made me feel

John the Baptist didn’t look like the messenger people expected—but he still carried a word from God.

How often do we reject truth because we don’t like the person delivering it?

The people were waiting for Elijah—but when God sent John the Baptist in the spirit and power of Elijah, they failed to recognize him.

God may be speaking through someone you overlooked, dismissed, or underestimated.

Sometimes we miss God’s message because the messenger doesn’t look, sound, or act like we expected.
