This Sunday at HBC, we begin a brand-new series: DON’T MISS THIS — Finding God in the details we often overlook.

We’ll start with one of the strangest little miracles in Scripture—a borrowed axe head that disappeared beneath the water.

But maybe the real question isn’t how did God make the iron float?

Maybe it’s the question Elisha asked: “Where did it fall?” — 2 Kings 6:6

What have we lost along the way—and what happens when we finally show God the place?

Sometimes the biggest truths in Scripture are found in the most obscure parts of the text...

Why are these moments in the Bible? What do they reveal about God—and what might we have been missing?

This September at HBC, we’re going to slow down, look a little closer, and explore some of those easily overlooked moments in Scripture.

It all begins this Sunday with “Borrowed Iron” — 2 Kings 6:1–7.

And you may be surprised what a lost axe head can teach us about the heart of God.
