Kick off the summer with us at OMPC! This Sunday is the start to our summer Sundays rhythm with our Psalms Series, “Gospel Springs for Desert Hearts,” that we started last Summer and will pick up again in chapter 12. New Sunday School class topics will begin today as well.

Our Children’s Ministry will move to Summer Sunday School with a combined class for rising 1st through 6th graders in the Gym.

The Youth House also kicks off the summer with a Youth House Family Lunch following the 10:45 am Service. All rising 7th-12th graders and their families are invited to a free lunch at the Youth House where they will enjoy food, fellowship and a time to hear about Summer as a Youth student. They’ll also get the opportunity to meet our Youth House Summer Interns.

The Forerunners spent last week serving on a weeklong mission trip to Manchester, UK, partnering with City Church Manchester. During their time there, they built meaningful relationships with members of the church, sharing faith journeys, encouraging one another, and witnessing how God is moving in the UK. Members of City Church poured into OMPC’s team, offering hospitality, encouragement, and a powerful glimpse into how believers are embracing the Lord and boldly living out their faith.

Two weeks ago, more than eighty women gathered at the beach for a weekend of fellowship, worship, and renewal.

Our theme this year was Living Water, and throughout our time together we were reminded of the beautiful truth that only Jesus Christ truly satisfies the deepest longings of our souls. He alone fills us with lasting peace, abundant grace, and the living water that never runs dry.

We returned home refreshed, encouraged, and grateful for the ways God met us and renewed our hearts.

Each year during the Easter Season, our Worship Choir leads us in a special reflective and worship-filled service to center our hearts and minds on the life, death and resurrection of Christ. This year’s service is titled, “Look to the Lamb,” and will be held Sunday, April 19. Join us at 8:15 or 10:45 am for a worship-filled service as we “Look to the Lamb” who we celebrate this Easter Season!
