We’re excited to welcome Cameron Sankey to The Creative Church: Worship + Production Intensive as our Saturday Music Direction & Musicianship Instructor.

Cameron is a Birmingham-based artist, producer, arranger, keyboardist, audio engineer, educator, and ministry leader. He serves as Director and Minister of Music at More Than Conquerors Faith Church, CEO of Playworx Music Group LLC, and Choral Director at Wenonah High School. He also served as a musical director for the opening and closing ceremonies of The World Games 2022.

His career includes touring and work with Micah Stampley, Anthony Hamilton, Yolanda Adams, India.Arie, and the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.

Cameron’s Saturday sessions will focus on:

Direct the Band: Music Direction & Musicianship Lab
Follow the Moment: Vamps, Cues, Transitions & Musical Agility

He will also coach musicians during the Creative Church Live Lab, helping attendees apply musical communication, transitions, adaptability, and real-time leadership in a live worship-production environment.

Monique is a leader, mentor, and creative voice with a passion for faith, growth, and purpose. Through her ministry and leadership, she encourages others to trust God fully, embrace every part of their journey, and walk boldly in who they are called to be.

MEET OUR FIRST INSTRUCTOR: VALERIE T. SMITH

The Creative Church is honored to welcome Valerie T. Smith as an instructor in our Worship Leadership Track.

Valerie is an accomplished gospel and Christian contemporary artist, worship leader, musician, educator, and ordained minister with more than 30 years of church worship and music-ministry leadership. A standout contestant on Season 25 of The Voice, she earned a four-chair turn and advanced to the Top 24.

At The Creative Church, Valerie will help worship leaders strengthen the ministry behind the microphone—not simply the performance on the platform. Her passion for equipping worship leaders, developing musicians, and inspiring the next generation reflects exactly why this intensive exists.
