The Alabama-West Florida and North Alabama Conferences are teaming up for an international mission trip for rising juniors and seniors. Bishop Jonathan Holston will lead this connectional mission team to Honduras to engage in ministry with Honduras Outreach, Inc. Space is limited. Priority is given to participants from small membership churches.

The grant, available every other year, funds new and continuing mission projects with connections to the United Methodist Church. The 2025 grants also include monies designated for ministries in communities with a population of less than 10,000 people.

Anyone can make a difference in the world. One of our North Alabama Conference young adult is willing to step out of her comfort zone to journey with a team for mission work in Guatemala in December. Caroline Worley is a member of Fellowship UMC in the Huntsville area and a college student at Wallace Community college in Hanceville AL. Caroline has a financial obligation of raising $1,780 for Building Believers in Christ ministry. Great thanks to all those who are working tirelessly in the aftermath of the Thursday tornados. Prayers to all the people who have been affected and those on the front lines.

Ian Conerly, Disaster Relief Coordinator MLD, Andy Yarnell, Asssoc. Pastor Gadsden First & Jeff Polland, Gadsden First, delivered tarps, nails and furring strips to Calhoun County this morning. UMCOR Warehouse delivered some of our Tornado Buckets later in the day!
