Join First Presbyterian Church in supporting women in need by donating supplies for Feminine Care Kits. These kits will be distributed in Billings and communities across the United States.

📅 Collection Dates: Now through August 9

Requested Items:
✓ 2 oz. bottles of hand sanitizer
✓ 4-gallon bathroom trash bags
✓ Travel-size antibacterial hand wipes (about 20 wipes unscented)
✓ Flushable wipes (unscented, 42 wipes or fewer)
✓ Bath-size bars of soap (3 oz. or larger, original wrapping; avoid Ivory or Jergens)
✓ Fragrance-free laundry sheets
✓ 1-gallon resealable plastic bags
✓ Sandwich-size resealable plastic bags

Every donation helps provide comfort, dignity, and essential care to women experiencing difficult circumstances.

Dave’s Diamonds – “90 Days”
Summer is here, and so is one of the most exciting journeys we can take—The Bible in 90 Days! I am thrilled to see so many people from our church signing up and committing to this adventure through God’s Word. There’s something encouraging about knowing that together we’ll be traveling from Genesis to Revelation, discovering familiar stories, meeting unforgettable people, and growing in our faith along the way. Being a part of a group like this not only brings accountability, but also encouragement as we can cheer each other along as we read through the Bible at an Indy 500 pace.
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” As we read each day, God’s Word helps guide our steps, brighten our hearts, and keep us focused on Him. So grab your Bible, a cup of coffee, and your reading plan—it’s going to be a wonderful summer journey together! Stay strong and encouraged in your faith. —Dave

💙 Thank You for an Amazing VBS Week! 💙

What a wonderful week of Vacation Bible School at First Presbyterian Church! We are so grateful to everyone who volunteered their time, shared their talents, donated supplies, and helped create a fun and faith-filled experience for our children.

A special thank you goes to Jody Andersen, who served as our VBS Director, and Lane Smith, who helped coordinate activities throughout the week. Their leadership, dedication, and enthusiasm helped make VBS a tremendous success.

It truly takes a church family to make a week like this possible. From teachers and activity leaders to snack helpers, decorators, registration volunteers, and everyone behind the scenes—thank you for coming together to share God's love with our young people.

We are blessed by each of you and grateful for the many hands and hearts that made this a wonderful week!

As they prepare to serve, learn, and share God's love with others, we ask our church family to keep them in your prayers. Pray for safe travels, meaningful connections, joyful hearts, and a week filled with faith, fellowship, and fun.

May God guide their journey, bless their work, and bring them home safely with memories that will last a lifetime.

Today we honor the flag of the United States, a symbol of the freedoms and blessings we enjoy as a nation.

As we celebrate Flag Day, let us also pause in gratitude for those who have served and sacrificed to protect those freedoms. We give thanks to God for the opportunities we have to worship freely, serve our neighbors, and share His love in our communities.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." — Psalm 33:12

May we continue to pray for our country, its leaders, our military personnel, first responders, and all who work to promote peace, justice, and compassion.

Dave’s Diamonds – “Energy”
What an exciting week at Vacation Bible School! With just over 100 kids filling our church with laughter, singing, games, and endless excitement, the energy has been contagious. From the moment the doors open, smiles light up the room and joy seems to bounce off every wall. This reminds us of Mark 10:13-16, where people brought children to Jesus. When others tried to turn them away, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” He welcomed them with open arms and blessed them. Jesus loved having children around, and we can imagine the joyful energy they brought wherever He went.
The excitement we see at VBS is more than just kids having fun. It is a glimpse of God at work. Every Bible story, craft, song, and snack helps children learn about Jesus and His love for them. This week, let’s thank God for the wonderful energy of these young hearts. May their enthusiasm inspire us to trust Jesus, celebrate His love, and approach Him with the same joy and wonder as a child. Stay strong and encouraged in your faith. —Dave
