These last couple of days in Brazil have kept us busy with home visits and neighborhood block parties for kids.

• Friday •
We arrived in São Paulo early Friday morning and took a bus out to Camp California. It was great, for those of us from last year, to see the staff members and our friends. We had some down time when we got to the camp in the afternoon and we were able to bond as a team while hanging out and playing games. The camp has a church Friday and Monday nights for people who live around the camp and it is a great ministry opportunity. The bus that the kids came on broke down so they didn't get here till 10:30pm. It was very cold for them on Friday night, since its winter here for them. When they got here we served them food and sent them straight to bed because it was so late. We all adjusted pretty well and no one has been sick yet, just tired.

• Saturday •
We were up and at it again early this morning. The day started off with breakfast and then a bible study and worship that we helped to lead. The kids are very fun and love to talk even if you don't understand them. We made up some random games to play and they loved it. In the late morning we had story time, games and music. The kids are very receptive to Jesus and a lot of them are already Christians. Later we had free time in the pool. The kids love the pool. Even though it was cold, they swam for a very long time. We are all pretty tired and we still have a long week to go.

WE MADE IT TO BRAZIL! 🇧🇷✈️🌄😴

The plane rides were bumpy and most of us only got 1-3 hours of sleep last night, but we're ready to get going.

Right now, we're waiting for Restoration Ministries to pick us up from the airport to take us to Camp California. Because of how busy traffic is today, we'll only have a couple hours to get set up before kids from São Paulo arrive at the camp.

Pray that we'll have all the energy we need for this weekend at the camp with all the kids. Look for pictures and another update on Monday!
