Fall is coming, and we’re kicking it off with a BBQ! 🍂🌭

Join us Sunday, September 13 at 11:15 a.m. for our Fall Kickoff BBQ Bash at 1935 Avenue B in Billings.

We’ll provide the meat and tableware, and you’re invited to bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share. We’ll also have yard games and plenty of outdoor fun.

This is a free event, and everyone is welcome, so bring a friend, bring your appetite, and come celebrate the start of fall with us! 🌞🍁

Join us as we walk together for hope, healing, and su***de prevention at the Out of Darkness Community Walk on Sunday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Will James Middle School.

Grace has joined together with the area methodist churches to form a team, and we would love to have you walk with us! Whether su***de has touched your life personally or you simply want to stand in support of those who are struggling, your presence matters.

Our first gathering of the year will be Wednesday, September 9 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room at Grace.

Come reconnect after the summer, enjoy fellowship, and begin another year of growing together in faith, friendship, and service. New faces are always welcome!

United Women in Faith meets on the second Wednesday of each month. We’d love to have you join us!

Fasting

Joel 2:12 “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”

Fasting, a common practice in Biblical time and is still done today. I wonder in today’s world why people fast. When you fast God wants you to turn your attention towards him. Be in prayer, sit with God, read his word. We need to turn our hearts toward God and all the amazing wonderment that is God. When we fast with God in our hearts our relationship with God grows stronger. Strengthen your love for God fasting from those things that take time away from your time with God

Grab you Bible and read more. Joel 2:12-13, Isaiah 58:3-9, Ezra 8:21-23

Take a minute to center yourself with God using a breath prayer. Breath in and out at least 5 times.
Deep breath in and say: God you are
Completely exhale and say: in my heart

Lord, as I fast today fill my soul with your love. Strip away all my distractions and quiet my fears. I want to be closer to you. Quiet my thoughts so that I can hear you. Help me to know you more deeply each and every day. Amen

Family Camp is coming up! 🌲🏕️

Join us September 18–20 at Luccock Park for a weekend of fellowship, fresh air, fun, and time together in one of Montana’s beautiful outdoor settings. Come for the whole weekend or just join us on Saturday!

Cost is $25 per person or $100 per family for the weekend, and $29 per person for Saturday only.

Please RSVP by Sunday, September 6. Registration information will be sent by email.

All are welcome, so gather the family, pack your camp gear, and come spend the weekend with us! 🌄

Love to sing? Choir is back! 🎶

Beginning Wednesday, September 9, choir practice will be held every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., with an additional Sunday rehearsal at 9:00 a.m.

Whether you’ve been singing with the choir for years or you’ve been thinking about giving it a try, this is a wonderful time to join us. Come make some music, enjoy the fellowship, and help us fill worship with song! 🎼💛
