As we head into the weekend, we would like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and father figures, including our spiritual father, Fr. Martin!

Thank you for your faithful service and dedication to our parish family. We are grateful for the many ways you share God’s love, guide us in faith, and help our community grow closer to Christ.

Looking for a sweet treat to celebrate the fathers and father figures in your life this Father's Day weekend? The Youth Ministry has you covered!

Stop by the Fellowship Hall after Mass on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, and pick up some homemade baked goods with a free-will donation.

Proceeds will help teens from our parish travel to Long Beach, California, for the National Catholic Youth Conference this November.

🧴🪥 Hygiene Item Collection – June 20/21 🪥🧴

Next weekend, St. Pius X will be collecting hygiene items to support two important community ministries.

Donated items will be shared with Tumbleweed, which provides essentials for children and students who enter foster care unexpectedly and often arrive with no personal belongings. Items will also be given to St. Vincent de Paul, which assembles and distributes hygiene kits to individuals in need throughout our community.

Thank you for helping provide comfort and care to our neighbors in need. ❤️

When you attend mass this weekend, you'll notice more green, marking our entrance into Ordinary Time. Did you happen to catch the reflection on Ordinary Time in last weekend's bulletin? We'll reshare it here:

A Not-So-Ordinary "Ordinary Time"

It’s important to remember that Ordinary Time in our Catholic Faith is anything but ordinary. It’s a time for conversion, guidance, and steady spiritual growth. It is time for us to pause and reflect on the life, teachings, and mission of Jesus in the “ordinary” moments of daily life.

The color for this season, green, further symbolizes our time of growth, life, and hope. This season is an invitation to live the Gospel. Through Jesus’ parables, miracles, and public ministry, we are offered a loving guide to follow Him more closely. We gather, we learn, and we grow to live the Gospel and prepare for the fullness of God’s promise of eternal life.

Family Promise YV returns to our parish in just over two weeks! Our incredible parishioners have made the program a success by volunteering their time, love, and compassion.

We’re excited to offer a new opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the program: a Volunteer Orientation Open House. There’s no commitment required - stop by the Youth Center on Sunday, June 28, anytime between 4:30 - 5:30 pm before the guest families arrive. You’ll be able to tour the living space, ask questions, and learn about different volunteer roles. Scan the QR code on the flyer, or use this link to let us know you’ll be there: https://stpiusxparish.flocknote.com/signup/261064

If you’re ready to volunteer, there are several ways to get involved:

Dinner Host
Prepare a meal at home, bring it to the Youth Center, and have dinner with the guest families. This is an hour-long commitment from 5:30-6:30 pm on your selected day. Sign up with the QR code or this link: https://stpiusxparish.flocknote.com/signup/260404

Evening Host
Enjoy spending time with others? Evening Hosts visit with families and play with the children from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Use the QR code to sign up, or follow this link: https://stpiusxparish.flocknote.com/signup/260405

Overnight Host
Overnight Hosts provide a welcoming and secure presence at the Youth Center from 8:30 pm - 6:00 am. Most of the shift is spent sleeping, and volunteers are provided with a private sleeping area. This role can also be shared with a spouse, friend, or family member. Your presence helps provide comfort and support should a need arise during the night. We extend our prayers and sympathy to the family and friends of Charles "Chuck" Joseph Legerski, who passed away on May 14, 2026. Chuck was a longtime parishioner and a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus, whose dedication and service blessed our parish community for many years.

A Funeral Mass celebrating his life and legacy will be held on Friday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m. May he rest in the peace of Christ, and may his loved ones find comfort in God's promise of eternal life.
