When Jessica and I took over Four Winds, we knew it was going to take both of us, especially with a toddler and me working nights full-time. I handle more of the maintenance/groundswork, Haven - Four Winds services, board meetings, and loading and driving for the Food Bank ministry, whereas Jessica handles a lot of the office, cleaning, planning, coordinating, and logistical aspects of groups coming, as well as a vast majority of the Food Bank ministry. I have to say, she always does well, but she has absolutely killed it the last couple of weeks. We had a work group from Dacusville, SC come and she handled all that flawlessly. Half that group left as a group from North Carolina that is doing our camp came in, with the other half of South Carolina leaving the next day. In the midst of all of that, she coordinated vehicles being available, beds and linen changes, cleaning being done, organized a way to get more kids to camp by picking them up, and settled the youth camp group in, all while maintaining keeping myself and our kids alive. 😂 She isn't one to be in the forefront, nor one to seek attention, but let me tell you this: nothing worthwhile that happens at Four Winds happens without her hands being involved in some way, shape, or form. She has a true servant's heart, and myself, our kids, Four Winds, and anyone Four Winds ministers to owes her a pretty big debt of gratitude. What a privilege it is to minister alongside you in all the craziness that is Four Winds. ❤️
