Today is the National Day of Prayer.
Please take a few moments to pray for our nation, for the leaders of our nation, etc.
Let's pray according to 2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Our nation is in dire need of prayer and deliverance from the enemy. Let's pray and seek the face of our great God on behalf of our nation.

In the United States, the National Day of Prayer this year is today, May 2. This tradition is actually older than America itself dating back to the Second Continental Congress. Before America was born, it was already steeped in a tradition of prayer.
Almighty God, You have told us in Your Word that “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chron. 7:14).
Dear Heavenly Father and Most High God, we come to You today in the Name of Jesus. Dear Lord, we come to You on behalf of the United States of America and Canada and Mexico and the nations of the Caribbean and all the nations of Oceania, Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia. Dear Lord, we repent first for Your worldwide Church, “for all we like sheep have gone astray.” Forgive us for spiritually casual careless attitudes and sometimes forgetting to keep Your Great Commission in our hearts and hands. Forgive us, O Lord, for allowing our first love for You and for one another to leak out. Help us, Father, to love you, love one another, and love the lost as our Church of God parents did before us. Mighty God, we intercede for our nation and all nations for forgetting You and Your holy precepts and being proud and selfish and tolerating abominations. Please cleanse our hearts, our motives, and our nations. Mighty God, You have called, guided, and greatly blessed the Church of God. We want to be your sickles in the harvest of souls. Help us to be Spirit-empowered disciples of Jesus who make disciples of so many others. You birthed the Church of God nearly 138 years ago and without You, we can do nothing. For this reason, we ask You today to be glorified, lifted up, and obeyed at our 2024 General Assembly in Indianapolis. Lord, help all Church of God ministers and laity, no matter where they come from, to attend and participate in this General Assembly in a spirit of love and yieldedness to the Holy Spirit. Have Your way—for Your glory at the General Assembly! We need You and we love You. In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen.
