Su***de Intervention Training - Please join us!

We all have a role to play. Together, we can save lives. Monday, November 8th from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Big Timber Evangelical Church - 302 Bramble Street.

For all age groups, Montana has ranked in the top five for su***de rates in the nation, for the past thirty years. In a report for 2019 in the National Vital Statistics Report, Montana has the 3rd highest rate of su***de in the nation (289 su***des for a crude rate of 27)

In Montana, between 2009-2018, the highest rate of su***de is among American Indians (31.39 per 100,000) although they only constitute 6% of the state’s population. Caucasians are second at 23.37 per 100,000.

Any donations will go to benefit the Big Timber Ministerial Associations Helps Fund which helps individuals and families that have immediate financial needs.

MAKE BIG TIMBER CLEAN
Montana on a Mission is sponsoring a Make Big Timber Clean event on Saturday, August 10th from 8:30 am 11:30 am. We will have dump trailers around town for 3 hours. Sign up now for us to come by your house to pick up your unwanted items. Items must be household items. (Sorry, we can’t take construction materials from large construction projects — remodels, roofing, etc…)

Special Thanks to Tom Still and Gayle Callinan for organizing the Benefit Concert, which raised funds for the Big TImber Ministerial Association. The Big Timber Ministerial Association provided almost $6,000 in help to individuals and families in the last year. None of this would be possible without community support and the churches in Big Timber.
