Don’t Give Up on the 6th Day!!!

Joshua 6

I preached yesterday about Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. It was important that Joshua was obedient to what God commanded. Every last detail. The faithfulness God required was marching around the walls of Jericho for 7 days and on the 7th day to march 7 times around. They were not to say a word while marching. Can you imagine being obedient to God without our voices chatting the whole time? Seems like we always have something to say to God. A better way for things to be done. What if Josh gave up on the 6th day? I wonder how often God has asked for our obedience but we gave up early.

Stay obedient! Vs 16 says.. The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city!

Joshua knew in that very moment that Gods promise would be fulfilled. Stay obedient! Do not let the devil discourage you. The battle is The Lords!!

Not sure who needed to hear that today! Be encouraged!! Press on in the will of The Lord! God bless you all!
