The History of Buckingham Presbyterian Church In 1683, Rev. He organized congregations along the coasts of Maryland and Virginia.

Francis Makemie, of the Presbytery of Laggan, Ireland, came to the American colonies to minister with persons of the reformed Christian faith. Buckingham Presbyterian Church was one of those congregations. Makemie preached at the Inn on the Burley Plantation, present day Berlin. Buckingham has had five sanctuaries: The first on the Buckingham plantation, south of Berlin; the second and third on the site of the cemetery at the south end of town; and the fourth and fifth on the present site. For over three centuries, the congregation has witnessed to Christ as Lord and Savior and ministered to continuing generations of people.

Halloween Party for all youth!

G3 made it to Jericho. We walked around the city again and again day after day. On the 7th day, we marched 7 times and then shouted. God destroyed the city and saved Rahab.

Continuing through the book of Joshua with G3. Last night we prepared to cross the Jordan River. One group created a river that would split in two! One group created the ark of the covenant. One group made 12 stones as the reminder of where/when God did this awesome thing!
We brought the story to life and then made pancakes!

G3 has been learning about the book of Joshua. Last week preparing to enter the promised land. This week spying on Jericho and meeting Rahab. Join us next Thursday (10/8) as we cross the Jordan River!
