Throughout this series, we’ve seen how each person has a unique and essential role in the church. Here are a few more ways God is working through His people at Riverbend:
Tyler - has been a faithful leader since he was in grade school. He and his wife Amanda moved to Bend to be part of this church plant, and his dedication has never wavered. As a sound engineer, his role is often unnoticed—until he’s not there. Let’s just say, without Tyler, we’ve had some interesting “hot mic” moments. His work may be in the background, but it plays a crucial role in the ministry of Riverbend.
Trinity - experienced a personal spiritual awakening that completely changed her life, and now she is using her story and passion to invest in the next generation. She serves as a youth leader, walking alongside students as they grow in their faith. Trinity’s commitment to showing up, building relationships, and pointing young people to Jesus is a powerful example of what it means to be the body of Christ in action.
Val - has a deep passion for prayer and a strong leadership gift. As one of our prayer deacons, she plays a crucial role in organizing the team that intercedes for our church every Sunday. Her dedication ensures that every service is covered in prayer, creating space for God to move. Her leadership in this ministry is invaluable.
Kelsey - is a gifted administrator with a heart for service. She plays a key role on the women’s team, organizing and managing the details for events like the women’s retreat, all while balancing a full-time job. Her organizational skills are a huge asset, ensuring everything runs smoothly. On top of that, she also serves at Alpha, furthering her commitment to our community. Kelsey’s ability to juggle it all and serve with excellence is a true testament to her heart for God’s work.
Each of these people—and so many others—show what it means to be the body of Christ. let’s continue to encourage and uplift one another, recognizing the unique gifts God has placed within each of us.
