This week at Saint James we will be celebrating Vespers for St Stylianos, followed by catechism class at 6pm/715pm, respectively, on Tuesday November 25th.

This Saturday, November 29th at 9am/10am, will be Orthros and Divine Liturgy celebrating the Holy Apostle Andrew, the First-Called (in anticipation of his feast day).

We welcome ALL who are interested in the Orthodox Church to be with us in worship! St. James is very visitor-friendly and we don’t expect anyone to know anything about our Ancient Christian Faith. St. James is the only Orthodox Church in the Mid-Ohio Valley and we would love to have you and your family be with us!

We invite all to come to church this Saturday November 8th for the Synaxis (an assembly of coming together to celebrate the common feast) of the Archangel Michael & the other Bodiless Powers: Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Salaphiel, Jegudiel, & Barachiel!

Orthros (morning prayers) begin at 9am and Divine Liturgy (the Mass or Eucharistic service) begins at 10 am to celebrate these great Angelic powers and the 9 orders of the angels: Thrones, Cherubim, Seraphim, Dominions, Powers, Authorities, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels.

We invite you and your family to come and worship with us. If you have never been to an Orthodox Church or do not know what to expect, that is OK! Please come, and feel welcome and comfortable. We don’t expect any visitors to understand Orthodox worship at first, but we wish to share our Orthodox faith universally amongst ALL in the Mid-Ohio Valley 🙏🏻 If you feel drawn to Orthodox Christianity and our Ancient Faith, there is not a better time to visit!
