Another Ohio Youth Camp season has come to a close.
Five incredible weeks...
Hundreds of campers...
Countless memories...
And most importantly...lives forever changed by the power and presence of Jesus Christ.
As the buses pulled away for the final time this week, campers returned home to every corner of Ohio carrying more than just dirty clothes and camp souvenirs. They left with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and encounters with God that we believe will shape their lives for years to come.
Our theme this summer, "Forged by Fire," reminded us that God uses every season to refine us, strengthen us, and shape us into who He has called us to be. Throughout these five weeks, we watched students worship wholeheartedly, respond to God's call, receive salvation, experience healing, discover purpose, and make life-changing commitments to follow Christ. We are humbled and grateful that we were able to witness what God accomplished.
None of this would have been possible without an incredible team of people who poured themselves into this ministry.
To every cabin leader, counselor, kitchen worker, nurse, lifeguard, maintenance worker, worship team member, speaker, activity leader, registration worker, prayer warrior, and volunteer who gave up vacation time, invested countless hours, sacrificed sleep, and served with excellence—thank you. You made an eternal difference in the lives of this generation, and we cannot adequately express our gratitude for your love, sacrifice, and commitment.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our churches throughout northern Ohio who trusted us as we combined our camps into one unified Ohio Youth Camp experience this year! Change always requires faith, and we are deeply grateful for the confidence you placed in us. Thank you to all of the northern leaders and volunteers who locked arms with southern leaders to provide such an incredible encounter with Jesus, and we believe this unified vision has only strengthened what God is doing across our state.
Most of all, we give all glory and honor to God. Every testimony, every decision, every prayer answered, every life transformed belongs to Him.
While we're sad to see another camp season end, we're already looking ahead with excitement. We truly believe that God is preparing something even greater for Ohio Youth Camps 2027, and we can't wait to see what He has in store.
