God reaches out to the lost

Luke 19:9 — "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham."

It is easy to look at someone like Zacchaeus — a dishonest and despised tax collector — and make judgments, find fault, condemn, and stay away. But Jesus came to lift, to heal, and to restore every person.

Jesus called Zacchaeus out of a huge crowd and said, "I want to go to your house for dinner." The religious leaders and priests said, "Why would Jesus go to this man's house when he is in the midst of fine, upstanding people like us?" They believed God was holy and righteous, but they did not believe that God stoops to notorious sinners.

John 3:17 — "God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him."

Let us reach out to the Lord together.

👀 When I can’t see ❌️

💒 Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (NKJV)

🚪 When we see God’s favor—doors opening, our health improving, the right people showing up—it’s easy to believe that He’s at work. But sometimes when we’re praying and believing, there’s no sign that it’s going to happen. Every circumstance says, “There’s no way.” It’s easy to get discouraged and give up on what we’re believing for. We think, “God, just give me a sign that it’s improving.”

🪔 But faith is the evidence of things not seen. If you have the evidence and can see it, that doesn’t take any faith. To reach your destiny, there will be times when there is no evidence and you still stand in faith on God’s faithfulness and His promises. 🌈

God is my Refuge

Psalm 91:1-2 — "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."

It is very significant that the psalmist did not just say he was going to stay in the shelter of the Most High and that would keep him protected. He said, "I will say of the Lord." What you say makes a difference — whether you receive God's protection and favor or not.

You cannot go around talking defeat, because negative talk is like bait. It attracts the enemy and opens the door to difficulties. You need to zip negative words up.

Speak victory. Speak healing. Speak favor, breakthroughs, blessings, and wisdom. Speak every kind of victory over your life.

Your declaration is your invitation.

Let us live with a celebration attitude!

Sometimes we are holding on to unforgiveness, anger, and resentment — thinking that it is hurting the other person, when it is only hurting us.
Are you letting bitterness and disappointment keep you from enjoying your life today?

Why don't you let it go and come into the party? Life is happening. There is a celebration going on. Today is a gift from God.

Don't let a bad childhood keep you out of the party. Don't let a divorce or a breakup cause you to be sour and sit on the sidelines of life.

Come joyfully into the party that God wants you to participate in. Get into the celebration attitude!

Let us pray.
Father, we thank You that today is a gift from You to us. There is a celebration going on. Thank You that we don't have to sit on the sidelines of unforgiveness, but we can jump into celebration. In Jesus' name, amen.

We should be confident that God is faithful and that He is in control of our lives. He came through for us in the past, He will come through for us again. In the midst of negative situations, we should praise God, be joyful and thankful. He will smile at us and give us His favor. His presence will be with us.

💒 🏃‍♂️‍➡️ God runs to you

📙 Luke 15:20 So he got up and went to his father. "But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. (NIV)

➡️ 🏃‍♂️‍➡️ 👱‍♂️ The father in this parable of the prodigal son represents our Heavenly Father and His heart of compassion toward us when we’ve sinned and gotten off course. Notice in this Scripture that when the prodigal returned to his father, the father came running to hug him. The only place in the Bible where it pictures God running is to this young man who’s dirty with hog manure and mud.

🏃‍♂️‍➡️ 🙎‍♀️ 🙎‍♂️ God could have come running to heal the lepers, to teach in the synagogue, to the religious leaders, but instead He came running to someone who had made mistakes.

Let us please the Lord

Luke Chapter 3:22 - The Bible says, “And the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven, You are My Son, whom I love, with You I am well pleased”

After Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist, God the Father spoke from heaven and said, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." It is interesting that Jesus had not started His ministry yet. He had not healed anyone, not spoken the Sermon on the Mount, not turned water into wine — yet His Father said, "I am well pleased with you.”

God was pleased with who He is and not with what He could do. Jesus' value did not come from His performance. It is because He is the Son of God. In the same way, because we believe God, we love God, we are the children of God. God loves us unconditionally.

We need to have a cause that drives our life

David was a shepherd. His love for God directed his life. He stood up for something that in one sense did not have anything to do with himself. He was not in the army. It was not his battle. And Goliath was not taunting him.

David could have walked away from the battlefield and gone home and lived a comfort-driven life. But he was driven by his love for God.

When you fight against giants for someone else, that cause is going to launch you into your destiny — just as it did for David.

When you are cause-driven:

You will see some giants come down.
You will see promotion doors open.
The right people will show up.

Let us pray.
Father, thank you that You are always greater than any difficulty we will ever face or any cause we will be involved in. Thank you for the opportunity to fight for others and for Your name's sake. In Jesus' name, amen.

❌️ Refuse to dwell on the negative 🙅

🤔 If the thought is negative, discouraging, and brings in worry or fear, don’t let it in. Don’t dwell on it.

🚨 Too often we just allow these negative thoughts access and go around worried, discouraged, and intimidated. Start paying attention to what you’re dwelling on. Ask yourself, where is this thought coming from? If it’s not positive, hopeful, and encouraging, it’s not from God. That’s the enemy trying to plant negative seeds. Take control of the doorway to your mind and refuse to dwell on it.

✝️ “Father, thank You that I can take control of the doorway to my mind and stop allowing negative thoughts to enter and play over and over. Help me to clear out all the negative thoughts from my mind and dwell on what You have to say about me. May Your peace guard my heart and mind. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.” 🙌
