Looking for a way to get connected at Bethany? First Steps is a great place to begin.

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years or you’re still exploring your faith, First Steps is a space to ask questions, learn, listen, and grow alongside others. You’ll meet people, build community, and have conversations that help you take your next steps in faith.

🧸 Sweet Tuesdays is looking for childcare helpers!

We’re looking for two caring people to help care for little ones ages 0–5 on Tuesday mornings, starting in mid-September.

This is a paid position for 2.5 hours each Tuesday morning. More than just childcare, you’ll be helping create space for moms to connect, grow in their faith, and build meaningful community together.

Indoor Service this Sunday!

We’ve got a full Sunday ahead, with a special guest, and an opportunity to learn more about a potential mission trip!

We’ll be inside in the sanctuary, with Bethany Café opening at 10AM. ☕️

God’s Calling in Our Lives
We’ll welcome Cathy Campabello, a Covenant missionary Bethany has supported for decades. She’ll share about God’s call on her life and her decades of missionary work in Colombia.

No Foundations This Week
There will be no Foundations class for middle and high schoolers this Sunday while our Surge and Highlight students are away at Adventure Pursuits. Please pray for the 30+ students and leaders attending the weekend!

Guatemala Mission Trip Info Meeting 🌎
Interested in a potential all-church mission trip to Guatemala during April Break 2027? Come to an informational meeting immediately following the service in the Sanctuary. Individuals, couples, and families of all ages are welcome.

🎨 Two Down, Two to Go!

Thanks to our faithful volunteers, we’ve completed two of our seasonal painting projects! The garage shed is freshly painted and ready for those winter winds, and the downstairs Fellowship Hall, Nursery, and Lamb’s hallways are now lighter and brighter.

That leaves just two projects to go:
• Re-staining the outside of the Pavilion storage shed
• Painting the black metal railings on the church’s main steps

Start Your Shoebox Shopping Early! 📦

Christmas may feel far away, but Operation Christmas Child shoebox shopping starts now!

While school supplies are on sale, stock up on crayons, pencils, markers, colored pencils, and other useful items to tuck into your shoeboxes this November.

💡 Packing tip: Take items like pens and colored pencils out of their original packaging before packing your shoebox. You’ll be surprised how much more you can fit!

A few dollars spent during the back-to-school sales can go a long way toward filling a shoebox. 🎒

Persistence Pays

Tomorrow, we’re back under the Pavilion at 10:00AM, with Bethany Café starting at 9:30AM—come celebrate our summer interns and hear from Pastor Sam on what it looks like to keep praying when the answer doesn’t come right away.

A quick summer heads-up: parking on the field and along 1 Covenant Way has been going smoothly, and as attendance grows, chairs can be in short supply. If you have a folding, beach, or lawn chair, toss it in your car and bring it along. 🪑

Our Parking Team and Ushers will be ready to help everyone find a spot and a seat!

Guatemala 2027 🇬🇹

We’re exploring the possibility of an all-church mission trip to Guatemala during April Break 2027, approximately April 24–May 1.

Want to learn more? Come to an informational meeting Sunday, August 23, immediately following the service in the Sanctuary. We’ll share more about the trip and answer questions.
