Light of Salvation Church, family, friends and financial partners:

We are so proud of Nadia on her graduation! Thank you for your prayers, kind words, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.

When we asked Nadia how she wanted to celebrate her graduation, she said she did not desire a party. Instead, she wanted to make memories with family. Because of that, Lady Ashley and I will be gifting her with a graduation cruise in August to celebrate this special accomplishment together.

One thing the pandemic taught our family is that life is not about things-it is about others. It reminded us that time together is precious, memories are priceless, and family is one of God's greatest gifts.

We are especially grateful to see those values blossoming in Nadia. It brings us great joy to see that, when given the choice, her desire was not for a party, but to spend meaningful time with those closest to her and make memories with her family.

Thank you again for loving, supporting, and praying for our family. We appreciate you all!

If you desire to bless her you can do it on her

At Light of Salvation Church today we learned:

When circumstances are loud, go back to what God has already said. Don't let your situation define you-let God's Word remind you who you are.

In Acts 27, Paul had been on a ship caught in a violent storm. For fourteen days, the sailors had not seen the sun or stars. The winds were relentless, the ship was breaking apart, and the Bible says that "all hope that we should be saved was then taken away."

Yet when everyone else sat in fear, Paul stood up.

He didn't stand up because the storm had stopped.

He didn't stand up because the ship was secure.

He didn't stand up because the circumstances looked better.

Paul stood up because

๐Ÿ’ฅhe remembered what God had already said.๐Ÿ’ฅ

While others focused on the waves, Paul focused on the Word. While others listened to the storm, Paul listened to God's promise.

When circumstances are loud, go back to what God has already said. Don't let your situation define you-let God's Word remind you who you are.

* I am loved.
* I am forgiven.
* I am chosen.
* I am redeemed.
* I am more than a conqueror.

The storm may still be raging around you, but if you hold on to what God has spoken, you'll find the strength to stand up in the middle of hopelessness.

The more you focus on what God says about you, the stronger you'll become in Him.

"Be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me." - Acts 27:25

Sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply standing up in the middle of a fourteen-day storm and saying, "I still believe God."

At Light of Salvation Church we learned today:

Forward in our life should look like this- We must take a real look at our lives this week and ask ourselves are we in one of the 3 places:

Are we bitter?
Are we wounded?
Are we healing?

The Bible says in Proverbs 4:23 to guard your heart, because out of it flow the issues of life.

The word "issues" means the things flowing out of you - your thoughts, attitudes, emotions, choices, reactions, and behaviors. It is what comes out of your heart and begins to shape your life.

If bitterness is flowing out, life becomes heavy and toxic.

If hurt is flowing out, pain begins to affect relationships and decisions.

But when healing is flowing out, peace, growth, wisdom, and freedom begin to appear.

What is in or you put in your heart will eventually come out in your words, your actions, and your direction in life.

A bitter heart - pushes people away.

A wounded heart - reacts out of pain.

A healing heart - begins to walk in freedom, purpose, and restoration.

You cannot build a healthy life while ignoring the condition of your heart. Jesus wants to heal what life wounded so your future is not controlled by your past.

God has everything yet ask for one thing:

Give me your heart- Proverbs 23:26

Yesterday at Light of Salvation Church we declared the power of God's COVENANT PROMISE - and here is the Scripture that seals it:

"For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" - Hebrews 13:5

In the original Greek, it carries multiple negatives for emphasis. In other words, God is not casually speaking - He is emphatically declaring:

"I will never, no never, no never leave you."
๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘†

That means:
Not in the fire.
Not in the flood.
Not in the valley.
Not in the battle.

Covenant is not based on feelings.
Covenant is not based on performance.

๐ŸŒŸCovenant is based on His unchanging character.๐ŸŒŸ

You may feel pressure - but you are not abandoned.

You may face opposition - but you are not alone.

You may be in process - but you are still promised.

He said it.
He emphasized it.
He sealed it.

"I will never, no never, no never leave you...โ€ผ๏ธ
