We want a few volunteers to help with the MAD Camp summer experience the last week of July right here at FUMC. This is a wonderful partnership with Trinity UMC and is open to our children (and grands!). "Under God's Sea” will use Music, Art, and Drama to help the children discover more about "God's World and Word."

Can you help with greeting and registering visitors as they arrive at our church? Could you help in directing the groups from one activity space to the next in our building? Would you like to join the kitchen bunch putting together the snacks (no cooking involved!) each day? Contact the church office or talk to Kathy Haskins on Sunday to see where you can help to make this a special experience for everyone involved!

Welcome our interim pastor, Pastor Cheryl Smith!

Pastor Jeremy is taking a well-earned sabbatical this summer and Pastor Cheryl Smith will be sharing her many gifts and graces with us while he's away!

In the United Methodist Church, pastors are able to take Sabbatical every few years to rest and recharge from the tiring work of ministry. When this happens, an Interim Pastor is brought in so that the church can continue to flourish and receive the Word of God while the pastor is away.

Pastor Cheryl brings many years of pastoral experience and is so excited to get to meet the church this Sunday, May 31st! Leave a comment saying hello and be sure to be here on Sunday so you can meet her yourself!

This year we are partnering with Trinity UMC for MAD Camp! It’s a fun summer experience called "Under God's Sea” when kids will discover and learn about faith and the Bible through activities in Music, Art, and Drama. You helped us donate over $2,000 to kids in the foster care system, thank you!

For Lent we hosted the Beaumont Chapter, American Guild of Organists for a Organ Recital series where we had the amazing opportunity to hear incredibly talented organists from around the state share their gifts with us.

Each week we took an offering and that money went directly to Beaumont Rainbow Room who can now use this money to purchase supplies for kids entering CPS or Foster care.

Thank you to everyone who attended, to the wonderful organists, and to the hardworking folks at Rainbow Room! We can't wait to see everyone again next Lent so we can do it all again!
