Last Wednesday we learned that God seeks us and says we are valuable. Join us this Wednesday to learn that God made me on purpose!! 5:30 - 6:00 is check-in and hangout. 6:00-7:30 is worship, snack, bible study, and small groups.

This month’s memory verse: For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Is your family a fan of hide-and-seek or scavenger hunts? It can be so fun to look for something, then celebrate when you find it. How incredible is it to know that God—the Creator of the universe—seeks you? No matter where you are or what you’ve done, you can know God’s love compels Him to seek you and invite you into a relationship with Him through Jesus. God sent Jesus because you are valuable to Him. Be encouraged!

Jesus showed that God made us with worth, as seen in this week’s Bible story from Matthew 19 and Mark 10. People were bringing their children to Jesus, hoping He would bless them. But when the disciples rebuked them, Jesus grew upset. He invited the children to come to Him, saying that the kingdom of God belongs to them. Kids can know that God made them with worth right here and now. Find times this week to tell your kids, “You are so loved and valued!” Do this at random times (not when your kids do something special) so kids know their value is not in what they do but who they are.

Join us tonight at SETX Kids!!! 5:30 -7:30 pm. The power is on and we will be serving dinner from 5:45 - 6:15 pm. 6:15-7:30 pm will be worship, bible study, and small groups. I hope to see you all there tonight!!!

Join us for our KICK-OFF night!! 8/19 5:30 -7:30 pm. It is going to be an awesome night!! We may get a little messy. We can’t wait to see you!! I know some schools have Parent Night - bring your kids after so they don’t miss this fun kick-off night!!!

🏕️ SETX Church Pr***en Camp 2026 Prayer Guide
“Take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Wednesday, June 24 – Travel Day
Pray for safe travels as our campers and leaders head to camp. Ask God to protect every camper, give driver alertness, keep our kids safe, and give our leaders energy and wisdom as camp begins.

Thursday, June 25 – The Power of Trust (John 20:24-29)
Pray that our preteens would learn to trust Jesus even when they don’t understand everything, just as Thomas did. Pray God would answer questions, strengthen faith, keep our kids safe, and refresh our leaders with energy and joy.

Friday, June 26 – The Power of Obedience (Joshua 2:1-21)
Pray that our students would have the courage to obey God like Rahab, even when it’s difficult. Ask God to help them recognize His voice, choose what is right, remain safe throughout camp activities, and give leaders strength and endurance.

Saturday, June 27 – The Power of Faith (John 6:1-13)
Pray that our campers would trust God with whatever they have and allow Him to use them for His glory. Pray they would discover their gifts and opportunities to serve others. Ask for continued safety for every child and renewed energy for our leaders.

Sunday, June 28 – Return Home (John 16:33)
Pray for a safe trip home for every camper and leader. Ask God to protect our travels, help the lessons learned at camp take root in their hearts, keep everyone safe, and give leaders strength as they finish the week well.
