☀️ What an amazing summer!

From Summer Days, Children's Church, and Safe Haven to unforgettable trips to Montreat and Scotland ✈️, our children and youth have had a season full of faith, fun, and friendship.

📚🍎 As they head back to the classroom, please praying that God will bless, protect, and guide them and their families throughout the school year. 🙏

🙏 We are grateful for Chef John Marshall and Bruce Doneff who were busy in our kitchen today to make a “Stone Soup Meal” to share with neighbors of special need.

🍅🌽 This week they made a Tomato and Basil Corn Chowder with ingredients donated by Second Helpings and Dempsey Farms. This week’s meal will largely be distributed at Showers with Dignity. Other meals have been distributed through HELP of Beaufort and the Port Royal United Methodist Church food pantry.

"Blessed are those who have a special place in their heart for neighbors who live close to the earth and do what they can, when they can, how they can to satisfy their hunger and thirst. Amen.”

We are offering a workshop this Sunday morning beginning at 9:35 am in Room 206. All are welcome to learn more about where Sea Island fits into the body of Christ in addition to the mission, work and ministry of the church. Coffee and doughnuts provided.
