We are excited to be featured in the NEPA Synod's September Newsletter! 🏕️💛

The article captures the connection between Bear Creek Camp and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod — from the pastors and deacons who serve as volunteer chaplains at camp each summer, to Bear Creek staff who head into the community to serve alongside NEPA Synod ministries. It's a wonderful reminder that what happens at camp doesn't stay at camp — it travels home through campers, families, clergy, and congregations.

Labor Day Weekend is quickly approaching — and this is your sign to spend the weekend at Bear Creek Camp!

Enjoy a relaxed schedule that includes waterfront time, guided hikes, arts & crafts, nature center exploration, high ropes, archery, and more. Or skip the schedule entirely and just enjoy the woods. Either way — it's your weekend.

Today we celebrate the incredible leaders of our 2026 Summer Staff! 💚 Over the past three months, they have grown as a community, shared their unique gifts with our campers, and lived into the best of what camp is all about. As they now go back out into the world, we know the wider BCC community goes with them in support and encouragement for the ways they’ll continue to make a positive impact beyond the red dirt road.
