More than a million pilgrims visited the Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade, Serbia over the past several weeks to witness the Holy Belt of the Mother of God, which she wore when pregnant with Jesus Christ.

The faithful waited in miles-long lines for up to 15 hours!

This marked the first time in over 600 years that the sacred relic had visited Serbia. The Holy Belt is preserved in Vatopedi Monastery on Mount Athos, and is highly revered for its reported miracles, particularly in helping couples conceive.

More than a million people traveled to the Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade over the past several weeks to witness a holy relic of the Virgin Mary.

In Catholic tradition, June is dedicated to the Sacred ❤️ Heart of Jesus.

St. John Paul II, who was deeply devoted to the Sacred Heart, said: “This feast reminds us of the mystery of the love of God for the people of all times.”

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops called on Catholics to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart, offering this prayer “as an act of reparation for the blasphemies against our Lord we see in our culture today.”

🙏 O Svjatíjšeje Serdce Isusa, pomiluj nas! (Slavonic)
🙏 Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

“A Christian who is truly Christian and not a charlatan, can never indifferently observe the triumph of evil and cannot accept evil in whatever form it may appear. It is not in vain that the Church of Christ on earth is called “militant” nor every Christian called a ‘warrior of Christ.’”

“The struggle against evil in all its forms is the principal task of every Christian. We Christians can never remain indifferent to evil wherever and in whatever form it appears.”

On this Memorial Day 🇺🇸 our nation pauses to remember the courageous men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice, ”for God and country.”

Saint Augustine said, ”One of the holiest works, one of the best experiences of piety that we can practice in this world is to offer sacrifices, alms and prayer for the dead.”

So, let us pray that their Memory be Eternal. Let us pray that God save them (and us) and bring us all into His Kingdom. Let us also remember the many individuals yet living who continue to keep our country safe and free through their service. May God watch over all of them and grant them many blessed years!

“When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and restedon each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:1-4).

SCHEDULE OF DIVINE SERVICES

”A man in this world must solve a problem: to be with Christ, or to be against Him. And every man decides this, whether he wants to or not. He will either be a lover of Christ or a fighter of Christ. There is no third option.” (St. Justin Popovich, Explanation of I John, 4.3)
