It is time to make the pastoral changes at Lord of Life official. This Sunday, June 7th, at our 9:30 am worship service, NEMN Synod Bishop Amy Odgren will install Rev. Erika Nilsen as our new Senior Pastor, and Rev. Sarah Marshall as our Associate Pastor! After worship, we’ll have a little time to grab refreshments before we and our “new” pastors jump into the Annual Meeting.

This summer, we’re hoping to be flexible on where we worship on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm. Whether it’s in another part of the Church, out on the patio, or something else, we don’t want to be tied down in the Sanctuary. As part of that, starting this Wednesday, June 3rd, we will not be livestreaming Wednesday Night services. If you worship online on Wednesday nights, we invite you to pull up the most recent Sunday recording, which has the same lessons and sermon.

This year to help make scheduling of drivers and adult leaders easier for Summer Stretch we have created an online sign up. Thank you to those who shared you could help with transportation and be an adult leader for this program.

We have 21 youth participants signed up this year which is wonderful! With the higher number we have a greater need for help each week. We are looking for three to four adults who can lead and transport each week.

Continuing our Life Together journey, all are invited to a study of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book, “Life Together” this summer!

Join us after worship on June 14th or 17th; July 12th or 15th; and August 2nd or 5th. June is one chapter, July is two chapters, and August is two chapters.

Next Monday, June 1st at 1 pm, volunteers will be helping prepare Lord of Life's grounds for another amazing summer of ministry!

We've been told students will either be out of school for the summer or having a half-day, making this an amazing opportunity for them to work and be in fellowship with other members of our faith community!
