Have you ever seen someone having a health emergency and wondered “How could I help?”

Parish Nurse Deb Bergstrom is hosting two classes aimed at answering this question on June 21st and 28th, after our 9:30 am worship services. On June 21st, she will go over how the AEDs are used, what they do, and where Lord of Life’s is located. The next week, she will talk about how to respond to an emergency situation, and how to safely help someone up after a fall.

It is time to make the pastoral changes at Lord of Life official. This Sunday, June 7th, at our 9:30 am worship service, NEMN Synod Bishop Amy Odgren will install Rev. Erika Nilsen as our new Senior Pastor, and Rev. Sarah Marshall as our Associate Pastor! After worship, we’ll have a little time to grab refreshments before we and our “new” pastors jump into the Annual Meeting.

This summer, we’re hoping to be flexible on where we worship on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm. Whether it’s in another part of the Church, out on the patio, or something else, we don’t want to be tied down in the Sanctuary. As part of that, starting this Wednesday, June 3rd, we will not be livestreaming Wednesday Night services. If you worship online on Wednesday nights, we invite you to pull up the most recent Sunday recording, which has the same lessons and sermon.
