We are excited to announce that our next event will be an Agape Feast and Crawfish Boil at Ronny Daly’s house! Ronny is graciously opening up his home (and pool) to all of us for a combined YAM and Children’s Ministry event as we celebrate life, love, and the beauty of creation. (This will take the place of our YAM mtg in May).

An Agape Feast is an ancient liturgy celebrated by the earliest Christians, where brothers and sisters in Christ break bread together and share their love for one another and for God. We are so excited to bring this meaningful tradition to our church family!

Event Details:
📅 Saturday, May 30th
⏰ 3:00–6:00 PM
📍 DM for the address

We’ll have bread, wine, and plenty of crawfish, along with appetizers and snacks. Feel free to bring a dish to share if you’d like—potluck-style contributions are welcome but not required!

Don’t forget to bring:

A bathing suit
A towel
Sunscreen
And an empty stomach!

We can’t wait to spend this time together in fellowship, food, and fun. It’s going to be a beautiful afternoon for all ages!

Join us for a fun night of community, competition, and celebration!

We’ll have seating reserved, plus the option to play pickleball! Courts are $20 each—just pay when you arrive if you’d like to play. Let us know ahead of time if you want us to reserve a court for you.

Bring your friends & family—there will be 🎶 live music, 🍔 great food, 🎲 games, and an awesome time celebrating the Easter season together!

👕 YAM shirts will also be available, so be sure to RSVP through the calendar invite so we can save your spot and have your size ready.

Great news everyone! Through faithful prayer and determination, our Vestry team has approved a modest budget line for our Young Adult Ministry! With these funds and support, we will be able to engage in our growing community of friends and families with a sense of hope, compassion, and diligence.

Due to the upcoming Carnival season, we have decided to move our monthly gathering to Friday, February 20th - 6pm to 8pm at Court to Table off Burbank in Baton Rouge. We will have a table reserved in the Kitchen room, but if you'd like to play pickle ball let me know so we can reserve enough courts. Totally okay to just come and eat as well!

Our church is growing, and YAM is growing as well! We will be collecting shirt sizes for legacy YAM members and will discuss a few ideas on fundraising for 2026. Whether you want to be a part of a growing community, or just want to hangout with friends determined to share in Christ’s love, please come and invite a friend or coworker so we can continue to expand our community together!

Jingle & Mingle: Bingo with a sassy Mrs. Claus
Friday, December 12 at 6:30 PM | St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church

Get ready to step into the Christmas season with an evening of laughter, music, and merry mischief at St. Margaret’s!

Mrs. Claus herself will be calling Bingo, and we’ll enjoy a Christmas sing-along, festive sweaters, dinner, drinks, and fabulous prizes for the lucky winners!

Bring your friends, your family, and your holiday cheer as we gather for a joyful night that supports the many ministries of our parish.

🎟️ Tickets:
• Adults: $25 (includes dinner, drinks, and one bingo card)
• Children 5–18: $10
• Children under 5: Free
• Extra bingo cards: $10 each

👉 Bingo is for ages 18+, but children are warmly welcome to attend, eat, sing, and enjoy the fun!

Reminder for YAM this Friday!

🍕 October 10 – YAM Monthly Meeting at Istrouma Brewery

We’ll meet at Istrouma Brewery (5590 Bayou Paul Rd, St Gabriel) from 6:00–8:00 PM. With a fully fenced-in playground plus delicious pizza and drinks, it’s the perfect spot in the heart of the city for us to enjoy fellowship with old and new friends! Feel free to bring your kiddos!

Reminder!!

We have exciting news at YAM! Our next gathering will be an Agape Feast, presided over by Fr. Tommy. In this holy liturgy dating back to the 1st century Christians we will gather, celebrate, and share God’s love (agape) with our community in Christ! ❤️

We will be hosting a potluck of Mediterranean food, bread, and wine on Friday, September 12th at our house (message me for the address). Bring friends, family, and all who want to show thanks and praise to God and love to each other!
