Luke's Episcopal Church, Baton Rouge! Join us for worship as we gather in person and virtually. In-person, we currently hold worship service in the middle school gym on Sundays at 10 a.m. Since the fire tragically destroyed our sanctuary, Pope Hall, and Library on 2/17/24, we have come together in this new space to continue our spiritual journey as we work to rebuild a new church. Can't make it in

person? You can watch our services right here on Facebook every Sunday morning. Alternatively, you can visit the homepage of our website at stlukesbr.org to tune in. Join us Sunday, September 20, for a blood drive hosted by Our Lady of the Lake from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Luke’s Church. To be a blood donor, you must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental consent, and weigh at least 110 pounds for men or 115 pounds for women. Donors must be in good health, free of infection and able to provide the names of any current medications. You may still be eligible to donate if you take medication for high blood pressure, take hormones, antidepressants, tranquilizers or diet pills, have controlled diabetes, or have had a tattoo at a licensed facility.

A Cross Rises Again

More than two years after the devastating fire that destroyed St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and Pope Hall, one of the few items saved from the fire will soon rise again above our new church.

On Wednesday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m., the cross will be placed atop the steeple of St. Luke’s new church, marking a powerful and meaningful symbol of hope, faith and renewal.

We invite our parishioners and the Baton Rouge community to gather on campus to witness this extraordinary milestone in the life of St. Luke’s.

Parking will be available across the street. If you are able, we encourage carpooling to help provide additional parking space for everyone attending.

We hope you will join us as we witness this special moment together.
