Think about the word SEND. Today God will SEND you out to do some work, but may interrupt that work with another.

“God is always moving ahead of us, preparing the next piece of work that we’ll be invited to do”. (Even sometimes when we’re already ON a mission!)

Lent is upon us, so that means Soup and Salvation time! In this 2021 version we’ll meet via Zoom, and cook our own soup, but still – we’ll be together all the same. Our book this year is “With Gladness”, and it’s an amazing piece of work, giving us a way of renewing our call to true discipleship with Jesus. The author, Fr. Christopher Martin, will be leading us live for the 2nd session, the 24th.

It all begins this Wednesday at 7 pm, and you need not read a bit of the book to join in and find much to inspire you and nurture your soul. If you’d like to order a book, find them at Amazon in Kindle or paperback form.

Join us for our first zoom gathering this Ash Wednesday, the 17th, 7-8 pm. (soup for the night is “Tomato Basil”,(watch for the recipe I’ll post later).

St. Luke's Episcopal is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
