π£ A Solemn Assembly: A Sacred Call to Prayer, Repentance, and Renewal π£
Beloved, there are moments in history when Godβs people must pause, humble themselves, and gather before the Lord in unified prayer. Throughout Scripture, when nations were in crisis, when communities were under attack, and when Godβs people needed divine intervention, they called for a Solemn Assembly.
The prophet Joel declared:
βBlow the trumpet in Zion; consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants.β β Joel 2:15β16
A Solemn Assembly is more than a church service. It is a sacred gathering where the people of God come together to:
ππΎ Repent of sin
ππΎ Seek Godβs face
ππΎ Intercede for our families and community
ππΎ Pray for justice and healing in our land
ππΎ Ask God for revival and spiritual awakening
In a time marked by violence, division, injustice, and uncertainty, the Church must do what the Church has always doneβwe must pray.

We are calling pastors, leaders, families, and believers from across our city to join us for this sacred hour of corporate prayer. Let us gather as they did in the Bible and cry out to God with one voice.
As King Jehoshaphat proclaimed in 2 Chronicles 20:12:
βWe do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.β
Now is the time to humble ourselves.
Now is the time to seek the Lord.
Now is the time for a Solemn Assembly.
When Godβs people pray, heaven responds.
