πŸ“£ A Solemn Assembly: A Sacred Call to Prayer, Repentance, and Renewal πŸ“£

Beloved, there are moments in history when God’s people must pause, humble themselves, and gather before the Lord in unified prayer. Throughout Scripture, when nations were in crisis, when communities were under attack, and when God’s people needed divine intervention, they called for a Solemn Assembly.

The prophet Joel declared:

β€œBlow the trumpet in Zion; consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants.” β€” Joel 2:15–16

A Solemn Assembly is more than a church service. It is a sacred gathering where the people of God come together to:
πŸ™πŸΎ Repent of sin
πŸ™πŸΎ Seek God’s face
πŸ™πŸΎ Intercede for our families and community
πŸ™πŸΎ Pray for justice and healing in our land
πŸ™πŸΎ Ask God for revival and spiritual awakening

In a time marked by violence, division, injustice, and uncertainty, the Church must do what the Church has always doneβ€”we must pray.

We are calling pastors, leaders, families, and believers from across our city to join us for this sacred hour of corporate prayer. Let us gather as they did in the Bible and cry out to God with one voice.

As King Jehoshaphat proclaimed in 2 Chronicles 20:12:

β€œWe do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”

Now is the time to humble ourselves.
Now is the time to seek the Lord.
Now is the time for a Solemn Assembly.

When God’s people pray, heaven responds.
