My name is Trudy Bihm-Howard, CAO of the EBR Council on Aging. We are hosting a Community Meeting on Wednesday, September 16th, at 6:00 p.m. at OASIS Christian Center to share information with the community about the new development at the former Sav A Lot grocery store.

The EBR Council on Aging is developing a 17,000-square-foot senior center that will provide daily hot meals, fitness activities, computer classes, a pantry, and much more. Our goal is to provide seniors ages 60 and older with a welcoming place to gather, socialize, participate in activities, and connect with others in the community. The name of the development will be called Brookstown Lotus Activity Senior Center.

We are asking our neighborhood churches and community partners to please help announce this meeting to your congregation and encourage seniors and their families to attend. The meeting flyer is attached for your convenience. If you would like additional information, I would be more than happy to speak with someone from your organization.
