This year's was another incredible showing of support for life-changing ministry at Camp Kinard & Coastal Retreat!

Thanks to YOU, the South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers was able to raise $4️,860 in just one day to help upgrade the Caughman Center kitchenette at Camp Kinard and main kitchen area at Coastal Retreat.

These improvements will help make special times around the table even more memorable through shared meals and meaningful conversations.

The South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers are once again thrilled to be joining together with hundreds of area non-profits in support of local philanthropy during .

For many, some of the most impactful times on retreat are when friends gather together around the table for shared meals and good conversation. Because meals (and food) are a vital part of each retreat - all funds raised this year will go towards upgrading Camp Kinard's Caughman Center Kitchenette and the appliances in Coastal Retreat's main kitchen area.

This month, Terry Shealy - a familiar face around Camp Kinard for the last 20 years - will be retiring from his role as Interim Bookkeeper. Terry has been an invaluable asset to SCLRC's ministry over the last two decades having served as Business Manager and Camp Kinard's Director.

Those wishing to honor his time at SCLRC are invited to make a gift to the Building+Renewing+Believing: Holy Spaces campaign in his honor.

🥾🏕️🌲 “Peace on the path. Joy in the journey. Truth on the trail. Hope, healing, and wholeness as you hike!”

It was a joy gathering with friends yesterday at Camp Kinard for our annual Laugh, Learn, & Lunch. Those gathered were delighted to listen to Rev. Jim Kinsler speak about his time on the Appalachian Trail and his quest to complete the 2,197 mile hike in the slowest ever recorded time.
