Today has already been eventful! I was so encouraged to see the renovation of the New Beginnings Bible Institute in Freetown coming together. After that, I headed over to find our kindergartners settling in nicely at the New Beginnings Baptist Academy in Byrne Lane.

Today is freshman orientation at the New Beginnings Bible Institute- Waterloo Campus. Please pray for the young men and women who have decided to get a christian education today so they can be Sierra Leone’s christian leaders of tomorrow!

It was a blessing to be able to meet and discuss the future of our ministries with Major Toronka yesterday. He is an Air Force chaplain to the troops stationed at Makeni. I thank God for the many government and military relationships God has allowed Brother Peper to establish in this ministry over his tenure here. Please pray that the Lord will allow us to continue to minister to the service members of the Sierra Leone military and that we would see many more souls saved through this awesome opportunity!

It was a blessing to meet with our missionary to the provinces, Alfred. Under Dr Peper’s direction, Alfred and I were able to discuss the development of our D1 discipleship material into Krio (while keeping the scripture in KJV English) so the pastors have an easier time discipling those who are unable to read. Please pray for our workers who are working to perfect the rough English to Krio translation that we have now so we can begin to utilize the awesome tool God has given us!
