A house divided cannot stand. And if we are honest, most marriages don't fall apart because of one big moment. They drift apart because two people slowly stopped pursuing each other and started keeping score.

Peter's words in 1 Peter 3 are not a rulebook. They are a picture of what becomes possible when both people lay down the pursuit of being right and start pursuing being one. Honor. Understanding. Grace. That is the foundation a marriage can actually stand on.
