Bartlett Baptist Church is fast approaching it's 10 year mark in our current facility. For the past 9 years, many of you have approached me and volunteered to help out when needed. That task would be insurmountable using a phone, a phone tree, or even email to some degree. So, with that being said, I have started this page as a way to communicate to many, the needs we have in facility maintenance.
What you may not be aware of is how much of an impact volunteers have made over the years. I can tell you we save well over $100,000 a year in maintenance contracts by the use of volunteer members such as yourself and our maintenance staff to maintain our facility and equipment. Not to mention the non-contract cost we would have incurred if we hadn't had the volunteer support that are blessed with. Please consider volunteering for needs that are posted on this page, but do so within your skill set. If for example, you don't paint well but you have the time and can clean chairs, please volunteer to clean chairs. That action would allow me to reassign one of our staff members from cleaning chairs to painting. It works this way across the board. In closing, I wish to send a shout out to every volunteer that as helped out in the past 9 years. You know who your are and I have been blessed and will always be great-full for your giving to the Lord through this ministry.
