Pastor Kelly and Lady Deanna Miller invited NFFBC to celebrate Living Faith Ministries’ 11th Anniversary! Prior to the service, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal! Their praise team graciously led us in praise/worship and Lady Marsha Williams sang before the impactful sermon by Pastor Robert Williams — entitled “Chosen For a Purpose” (I Peter 2:9-10)!!! (Pastor Robert and I were so glad to fellowship with Sis. Alfreda, Sis. Gwennie, and Lady Deanna. We previously were members of Agape Christian Baptist Church many years ago.)
We look forward to fellowshipping with again!!!💝💝💝

There are moments in life when everything feels heavy—when the weight of trials, struggles, and unseen battles presses hard against your soul. You try to stand, to push forward, to endure… but the resistance feels stronger than your strength. It is in these moments that many begin to understand a deeper truth: life is not just a journey—it is a spiritual battle.
And in every battle, you need a weapon.
Prayer is not just a ritual. It is not empty words whispered into silence. Prayer is your connection to the One who fights for you when you are too weak to stand. It is your shield when the enemy attacks your mind, your peace, and your purpose. It is your strength when your body is tired and your heart feels like giving up.
You will never fully understand the power of prayer until you face something that only God can carry you through.
Because prayer shifts atmospheres.
It breaks chains you cannot see.
It opens doors no man can shut.
It brings peace that the world cannot give.
Sometimes, God allows battles not to destroy you—but to teach you how to depend on Him. To bring you to your knees, not in defeat, but in surrender. Because when you kneel before God, you can stand against anything.
So when life feels like a war, don’t run away. Don’t rely on your own strength alone.
Pray. Even when it’s hard.
Pray. Even when you don’t have the words.
Pray. Even when nothing seems to change.
Because something is happening.
God is moving.
God is working.
God is fighting for you.
And in the end, the victory is not yours alone—it belongs to the One who never loses a battle.
