💙💛 YOUTH SUNDAY — SEPTEMBER 13TH!💛💙

There’s something special about watching young people realize that they have a place, a purpose, and a part in the work of God.

On Sunday, September 13th, our youth won’t just be coming to church — they’ll be serving, leading, worshiping, testifying, and preaching! 🙌

From our little ones to our teenagers, you’ll see our young people stepping up and using what God has given them.

📖 Sunday School begins at 10:00 AM
Our youth will be helping and serving in different areas throughout the church.

🎶 Morning Worship will be YOUTH-LED!
Our young people will help lead us in praise & worship, share testimonies of what God has done in their lives, and some of our young men will be bringing a message from God’s Word.

We hear so much about everything that is wrong with this generation… but we want you to come see what GOD is doing in this generation. ❤️

Come encourage them. Come worship with them. Come support them. And most importantly, come expecting God to move!

✨ BUT GUESTS — PLEASE DON’T LET THE COLOR THEME STOP YOU FROM COMING!✨

You don’t need an assigned color and you definitely don’t have to have everything figured out before you come. Just bring your favorite dish or dessert if you’d like, and come join us! We would much rather have YOU there than worry about what you bring! ❤️

What are you expecting God to do this Sunday? 🙌

At East Mount Zion Baptist Church, we’re coming together expecting God to move! We’re praying to see lives transformed, souls saved, hearts restored, and lives recommitted to serving the Lord.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 (KJV),
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Maybe you’ve never accepted Christ as your Savior. Maybe you’ve gotten away from where you know you need to be. Maybe you’re tired, hurting, discouraged, or simply looking for a church where you can grow closer to the Lord.

🎨 WHAT A WAY TO END COLOR WARS! 🎉

Our kids wrapped up their Color Wars Challenge last night, and what an incredible night it was!

🙌 59 kids in attendance!
❤️ 5 first-time guests!
🥧 And Brother Johnathon Hines took a PIE TO THE FACE for the best-dressed!

But the best part has been watching our young people truly go to work for the Lord! They have been inviting friends, reaching out to others, and working to fill those empty seats—not only in our Wednesday night classes, but in our Sunday School classes too!

We are so thankful and excited about what God is doing at East Mount Zion Baptist Church! We believe He is working in the hearts of our young people, and we can't wait to see what He does next.
