In consultation with the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, Mother Catherine, the Wardens and Vestry of Christ Episcopal Church have concluded that the Rededication Service originally planned for March 15th will need to be postponed. The new date is set for Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 at 9:00 am.

The two snowstorms we have experienced this winter understandably caused environmental challenges and work delays. There were also unforeseen issues discovered once work began requiring additional time and attention. Postponing the rededication service will afford the opportunity to carefully address any outstanding details and will allow the construction team the time needed to deliver their finest work.

As progress continues, we humbly ask for your ongoing prayers for the construction crew, the staff of the Diocese of Long Island, and for Christ Episcopal Church, Babylon.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and we look forward to a glorious celebration on Sunday, May 3rd at 9:00 am!
