Happy Father’s Day from Mt. Olive💙💙💙

Today we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, father figures, mentors, and men of faith who have shown steady love, quiet strength, patience, protection, encouragement, and grace. We are so grateful for you!!

Scripture reminds us, “As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.”
Psalm 103:13

We thank God for the men who reflect His care in both big and small ways — through prayers, presence, sacrifice, guidance, laughter, and faithfulness.

We also know Father’s Day can hold joy, grief, gratitude, longing, or a mix of all of it. Wherever this day finds you, may you be reminded of the love of our Heavenly Father, who is faithful, near, and full of compassion.

Day 4 of VBS Rainforest Falls has us saying it again and again: WOW GOD!!!! 🌴🌺🐒🐸🦋🌧️🌈☀️
This morning, our kids looked back at what they’ve learned from each Bible Buddy this week and shared the truths they’ve been carrying with them each day.

What a gift to hear them remember, respond, and celebrate the ways God is at work.
We are so thankful for this week, for these kids, and for every “Wow, God” moment along the way.

We’re halfway through VBS week, and Rainforest Falls has already been such a gift.

Day 3 was full of laughter, worship, games, crafts, snacks, and so many moments of kids learning about Jesus together. Thank you to every volunteer, family, and child helping make this week so special.

Some seasons do not lift as quickly as we want them to. But even there, God meets us.

Psalm 143 gives us language for those moments — when we feel tired, pressed down, or unsure how to move forward.

Because of Jesus, the dark is never empty. He has been there. He has carried it. He has walked through it and overcome it.

So when we are waiting for the morning, we wait with hope — not because life is easy, but because we are not alone. 🤍

VBS is almost here! 🦋🌴🌿✨
VBS starts next week, and we cannot wait to welcome kids into a week full of worship, Bible stories, games, crafts, music, and the good news of Jesus.

A huge thank you to everyone helping decorate, prepare, volunteer, donate, and pray over this week. It is all coming together, and we are so excited for what God has in store.
