Happy Father’s Day to every dad out there. 💛

The Bible is full of fathers who were far from perfect but who showed up anyway. Brave ones. Obedient ones. Prayerful ones. Persistent ones. Faithful ones. Wholehearted ones. Steadfast ones.

And no matter which of those sounds like you — or which one you’re still working toward — you are seen, you are valued, and you are loved.

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.” — 1 John 3:1

To the dads of Redeemer: thank you for leading your families in faith. We are so glad you’re ours. Happy Father’s Day. 🙏

☀️ Summer at Redeemer is in full swing!

Camp days are packed with smiles, surprises, and plenty of ways to beat the Texas heat!

For many of our VBS campers, the fun didn’t end at noon—Summer at Redeemer kept the adventure going with fuller day of games, activities, friendships, and new experiences.

Week 2 Campers enjoyed a giant waterslide, laughed along with Silly Sparkles the magician, and got face painting and balloon animals.

More fun, more memories, and more summer adventures are still to come!

God is Forever. 💚

On our final day of Rainforest Falls VBS, campers signed VBS shirts, enjoyed obstacle course challenges, cloud-in-a-jar experiments, games, worship, and a joyful closing celebration.

Thank you to our campers, families, volunteers, youth leaders, and staff for making this week so special. As campers head home, we pray they carry with them the truth that God’s love never ends and that He is forever.

🌿 Day 4 at Rainforest Falls VBS 🌿

Today’s Bible Point: God is love. 💚

One of the sweetest parts of VBS is watching friendships grow.

Throughout the week, we’ve seen campers learn songs together, cheer one another on, share laughs, lend helping hands, and welcome new friends into their crews. From preschool campers to student volunteers, Rainforest Falls has been filled with moments of kindness, encouragement, and belonging.

As more than 500 children gather on Redeemer’s campus this week, we’re reminded that God’s love is often reflected through the people He places around us.

We’re grateful for every friendship, every smile, and every child who has made this week so special.

🌿Day 3 at Rainforest Falls VBS🌿

God is our safe space.

As campers explored the story of David hiding from Saul, they learned that God is with us in every circumstance—our refuge, our protector, and our source of peace.

Around campus, that message came to life in so many ways:
💚 Pastor Michael’s dramatic climb and egg drop.
💚 Kids jumping into games and activities 💦
💚 Friends encouraging one another
💚 Volunteers offering helping hands
💚 Worship, laughter, creativity, and discovery around every corner 🦋🫧

It’s a joy to watch Redeemer be a place where children are known, welcomed, and reminded each day of God’s love and care.

🌟 We’re grateful for every student volunteer who is showing up with energy, patience, kindness, and a servant’s heart this week. You are an important part of what makes Redeemer VBS so special. 💜🌿

Holding hands with nervous preschoolers. Leading games. Helping with crafts. Dancing during worship. Making room for everyone to belong.

One of the things we love most about VBS at Redeemer is that ministry isn’t just for adults. Our middle school students have meaningful roles to play, too.

This week, dozens of youth volunteers are serving alongside our adult leaders, helping care for campers from preschool through rising 6th grade. They’re learning responsibility, building confidence, practicing leadership, serving others, and discovering that God can use them right now—not someday in the future.

In a season of life where middle schoolers can sometimes feel caught between childhood and adulthood, Redeemer intentionally creates opportunities for them to contribute, lead, and make a difference.

And the younger campers notice.

They watch the purple shirts. They follow their example. They look up to them.

🌿🐒 Rainforest Falls VBS begins tomorrow! 🦜🌧️

We’re counting down the hours until hundreds of kids fill Redeemer with laughter, worship, games, crafts, new friendships, and unforgettable adventures as we explore the nature of God together.

✨ June 8–12
✨ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
✨ Preschool & Elementary Ages
✨ Worship, Bible discovery, games, crafts, snacks, and more

This week, our VBS families will also be supporting Safe Families for Children, a local Austin ministry that helps keep children safe and families together during times of crisis. Our goal is to raise $1,500 to support one host family through this important work.

Please join us in praying for our campers, families, volunteers, and leaders as we kick off an incredible week at Rainforest Falls. We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow morning!
