Sunday at all three services, Pastor Michael shared the following statement with the congregation:
"Dear Redeemer,
After three weeks of careful, deliberate, and prayerful discernment, I humbly accept the Call to serve as Redeemer’s next Senior Pastor. Over the next several weeks Pastor Kevin, Angie Schiller, the Presidium, the Elders, and I will work to create an intentional transition plan for the Pastoral Care and Administrative Leadership of Redeemer.
I ask for your prayers for both today and for as long as the LORD has me serve in this new role. Know that that Gospel of Jesus Christ that I proclaim is the same Gospel that I myself am in need of constantly.
I am compelled by the Vision that the Lord has laid before us a people who are Following Jesus Together. The challenges we face are great, but the LORD who leads us with his grace is greater still; as we Follow Him Together, may he inspire and equip us for every good work, that more and more people might come to hear Gospel and be transformed through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To him the Glory and Praise from this day, and forevermore."
