What an epic Redeemer Kickoff Sunday! 🌳

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make the day possible, and to all the families who joined us in the August heat!

We celebrated with our kids leading us in song "Firm Foundation (He Won't)" and a powerful message from Pastor Michael centered on our theme, Rooted in Jesus' Love. He walked us through trees all over Scripture — from the Garden of Eden to the cross (which the early church literally called "a tree") to the tree of life in Revelation, whose leaves are "for the healing of the nations." Along the way, four real trees became pictures of Christ's love: aspen groves connected underground (wide), the ancient Bristlecone pine (long), the towering sequoia (high), and Africa's deep-rooted shepherd's tree (deep).

The invitation for this year: get honest about what your soul is actually rooted in — and let it be Him.

The celebration continued with a family picnic, bounce houses, a teacup ride, face painting, animal encounters, balloon animals, and so many moments of our church and school community simply enjoying time together.

What a joyful way to begin another year at Redeemer — rooted and established in love. (Ephesians 3:17) 💙

Love Jesus. Love Growing. Love Others.

✨Church families, school families, friends and neighbors—we’re kicking off a new year together!✨

Join us this Sunday, August 30, from 10:30 AM–1 PM in Redeemer’s east parking lot (Burrell side) for food, rides, a petting zoo and more.

The event is FREE, fun for all ages and open to the entire Redeemer School and Church community. We’d love to see you there!

Summer at Redeemer camps wrapped up this week! ☀️💙

Our weeks of camp were packed with hands-on fun—this week building anemometers and learning about clouds to a bubble party, cozy movie day in sleeping bags, colorful art projects, and so many smiles along the way.

What a wonderful summer it’s been! We’re so thankful for the amazing staff who poured their hearts into every activity and every camper, making this a season full of learning, laughter, friendship, and faith.

Thanks for spending your summer with us—we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for an incredible school year! 🍎✨
