The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught that our unity is more powerful than an atomic bomb. Think about that for a moment.💭
An atomic bomb can destroy cities, but unity can rebuild communities. An atomic bomb spreads fear, while unity spreads love, peace, and cooperation. When people put aside their differences and come together with a common purpose, there is no force that can stop them.
Today, violence, division, and hatred are tearing apart our neighborhoods. Yet the solution has always been the same: unity. When churches, mosques, community organizations, activists, and concerned citizens stand together, we become a force for positive change.
As we prepare for the Peace Walk, let us reflect on this powerful teaching. If unity is more powerful than an atomic bomb, imagine what can happen when we unite to make our community a decent and safe place to live. Right here in Augusta, Georgia.
