Good afternoon
I wanted to jump on here real quick and update you on our Rolling Hope day out yesterday.
I would begin with a huge Wow! God is so faithful, and He continues to use the CREW and the Risen body to change lives. I’m sure if we lined up everyone from yesterday, we’d have at least 20 epic stories on how we got to see God move.
Maybe one of the craziest was that we got held up by the parade in Grovetown after the first stop. That set into motion us being right on time to the other four stops. To begin, we lead a young man named James to Christ at our first stop. James is 14 or 15 and was at the laundry mat with his mom. He was reading the gospel track that we put in every bag we give away. That created an avenue to ask if he understood what he was reading. The end result: he made a decision right there in the laundry mat to receive Christ as his Savior!
From there, we ran into divine appointments, one right after the another. The craziest part was each person was either about to leave or had just gotten there; God was orchestrating our every move.
We were able to minister to one lady who had a 13 year-old daughter who had recently tried to commit su***de. Theresa and I talked with another lady for a little while; it was her first Christmas without her husband.
At the Dean‘s Bridge stop, a young man who worked there went out and got his mom to tell her to come inside and get prayed over. Those bikers are in there praying for people! It was so beautiful watching the ladies gather around her and minister to her.
I wish I could tell you every story. They’re just are too many to tell.
I will end with this, never underestimate what God can do with a few “least of these” people. God uses messed up people to minister to messed up people.
Much love and respect,
Bill
