Attica Free Methodist Church

Attica Free Methodist Church The purpose of our church is to love God and walk with Him, and to encourage and help each other take the next step in our walk with Him.

The goal of this page is to help us stay connected with each other as part of our fellowship. It is also to connect with those who are not yet part of the church, but are interested in knowing more about who we are. We are very involved with our community through ministries such as Celebrate Recovery, our food pantry, Wednesday Family Night Ministry, etc.

The tower was so tall-Babel, they called it. A monument to reach for what was never given. An inheritance they believed was theirs to seize.
It began in a garden, with forbidden fruit. Now it rises in stone and pride,humanity striving to ascend, to invade Heaven itself and claim a false birthright.
God saw their unity, how nothing would be withheld from them. So He confused their speech and scattered the nations.
But what was scattered was never abandoned.
In Jesus, the nations are called home. And at Pentecost, the Great Comforter descends-the Holy Spirit falling like fire, restoring understanding to every ear.
What was confounded is made clear in Christ. What was divided is brought near.
The tower left unfinished by human hands is fulfilled not by ascent, but because Heaven came down.
