Tonight at the Celebration of Ministry at Annual Conference 2026, Pastor Monica was celebrated for completing her educational requirements as a Licensed Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church and was bestowed with a scapular. This year also marks the 70th anniversary of women receiving full clergy rights in the Methodist tradition. Pastor Monica is proud to stand on the shoulders of the decades of female pastors who came before her, including and especially her mom, Martha McDougal, a retired United Methodist Elder in the Great Plains Conference!
