Seeds of Impact – Sowing Generosity. Growing Community.
This spring, Attica Free Methodist Church is launching a new initiative to invest directly into the needs of our communities.
Our goal is simple:
To plant 10 seeds of $500 into local programs, organizations, and initiatives that are making a difference throughout Warren and Fountain Counties.
Scripture reminds us in Ecclesiastes 11:6:
“Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle.”
And in 2 Corinthians 9:6:
“Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
We believe generosity changes communities. We believe small seeds can produce lasting impact. Most importantly, we believe the Church should continue standing on the front lines of hope, compassion, and action.
This spring, we are intentionally focusing on youth-centered initiatives, including:
• Local lunch programs
• School athletics
• Youth outreach ministries
• Mentoring and wraparound support services
• Community park programs
The organizations we are supporting include:
Attica Parks Program – Lunch Program
Attica Parks Board – Storage Shed project
Attica School Corporation – Unpaid Lunch Balances
Attica School Corporation – Athletics
Williamsport Parks Program
Fountain Central School Corporation – Athletics
Covington High School – Athletics
Seeger High School – Athletics
Ministerial Association of Warren & Fountain Counties Unified Youth Group (Radiate)
Metanoia Mentoring – Initiative to expand wrap around services in Warren & Fountain Counties
But this is bigger than one church.
We want to challenge our community:
Who else is willing to plant seeds?
Our desire is to see these seeds grow into a great harvest for our communities.
Maybe your seed is $5.
Maybe it’s $500.
Maybe it’s volunteering your time, mentoring a student, sponsoring a meal, or supporting a local family in need.
Imagine what could happen if individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations all chose to sow generously into the next generation.
If you would like to match one of these gifts or learn more about how you can help, please feel free to contact me.
Our prayer is that these seeds would not only meet practical needs, but also spark encouragement, unity, revival, and hope throughout our communities.
If you would like to partner with us, suggest a community need, or help sow into this vision, we would love to connect with you.
Let’s grow something meaningful together.
