We are so pleased to welcome Pastor Todd Erlandson to our church family! Pastor Todd was recently called to be GracePoint's next Senior Pastor, and has joined our ministry, along with his wife, Natalia and daughter, Katya. Please join us on Sunday, September 13th, when we officially welcome Pastor Todd with a special installation service (10:30 AM). Please also join us early at 9:15 AM, for coffee and cinnamon rolls - we'll be hosting a meet-and-greet time of fellowship before the service.

Today, Pastor Max "passed the baton" to Pastor Todd Erlandson, recently called to GracePoint Church as our new Senior Pastor. Pastor Max and Marlys have been such a blessing to our congregation during this transition period! Today was a bit of a farewell, yet we will be praying for their next chapter, and feel confident that God will use them to pour into other congregations in the future. Thank you, Pastor Max and Marlys! We will miss you, and the congregation will be praying for you.

Ice cream sundaes on a warm summer evening was a fun way to end our week of Emerald Crossing VBS! Thank you families for prioritizing your kids' time for Bible learning. In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. This week, they learned about the life of the shepherd-king David and how they can cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.

Saying goodbye to Emerald Crossing today - but see you tonight at our closing program and ice cream social! Going from "shaky to sure!" Today we learned that we can look for God’s goodness and mercy, our traveling companions through life. And reminded that we can have great hope of living with Jesus forever if we trust in Him and accept His gift of the cross, the payment for our sins. Our memory verse: Psalm 23:6 (ESV): Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

VBS day 4 focused on going from "grumbling to grateful." Because of God's good gifts to us, we can have an attitude of gratefulness in every situation. Our memory verse: Psalm 23:5 (ESV): "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."
