Today, we pause to honor the remarkable life and legacy of Mother Sophie Lillian Greene Carey—106 years of faith, favor, service, and amazing grace.

A member of Antioch East since the age of 12, Mother Carey faithfully served the Lord and His church for more than nine decades, including over 50 years as Sunday School Superintendent.

Her earthly journey is complete, but her prayers, wisdom, service, and legacy will continue to speak for generations.

Well done, Mother Carey. Your work has spoken, your faith has witnessed, and your legacy shall live on. đź’ś

Sometimes God does His greatest work in the places where we can’t see what He’s doing.

Just like a photograph is developed in a darkroom, God may use your dark season to develop YOU. 🙌🏾

What feels like isolation may be preparation.
What feels like delay may be development.
What feels like darkness may be God bringing your purpose into focus.

📸 The darkroom is NOT your destination—it’s part of God’s development process.

So don’t give up because you can’t see the full picture yet. God is still developing you! 🙏🏾✨
