Church family,

Porchfest has been postponed by the event organizers due to weather. First Baptist did not cancel — and OASIS is not losing momentum. Actually, the opposite is true.

More than 100 people volunteered. More than 35 were trained in gospel conversations. Teams were preparing, praying, and getting ready to love our city well. That is not wasted preparation. That is a church getting ready for mission.

OASIS is bigger than one date on the calendar. It's about becoming the kind of church that moves toward people, serves our city, and shares the hope of Jesus with compassion and clarity. When Porchfest is rescheduled, we will be ready.

Thank you for praying, serving, and stepping forward. I am incredibly encouraged — and I believe God is preparing us for a powerful season of ministry.
